Canning season officially opened for me today with my first canning project of the year. June means strawberries, and I can't miss my chance to make homemade strawberry jam. Since I started making my own jam and canning it, nothing from the store tastes as good.
Eleven half pints of strawberry jam are now cooling on my counter.
