Nook Reader Appreciation Barnes & Noble Gift Card Giveaway Drawing

To show my appreciation for the thousands of people who have supported me and my novels at the Barnes & Noble Nook book store I'm running a giveaway drawing for a $15 gift card.

The winner will be able to spend the gift card at Barnes & Noble stores or online at Barnesandnoble.com. I know these little gift cards are popular. I've seen them get stolen at white elephant gift exchanges as frequently as bottles of wine.

My fantasy novels have been in the Nook store since 2010, and I've enjoyed consistent sales across all of my titles there. Nook readers are paying my property taxes and homeowners insurance, and I am saying THANK YOU with this humble gift card giveaway.

Drawing closed on 1/1/14. Check back for new gift card giveaways throughout the year.

  • You can always unsubscribe later, but please wait until I send you an email at the end of the drawing. If you unsubscribe immediately instead of confirming that you wanted to join the list, then you won't be among the entrants when I draw the winner.
  • Giveaway is taking entries through December 31st. I'll pick the winner on New Year's Day and email that person an egift card for $15.
  • Drawing is open to U.S. based Nook users. I could not determine if the egift card will work in the Nook store in the UK. Sorry. I love my UK readers too, but I don't make the rules. If anyone knows if a Barnes & Noble egift card will work in the UK store, let me know. I could not find anything in the terms and conditions that said one way or the other.

My audience of Nook readers is important to me. I'm continually grateful for the steady sales that come along month after month. This is how I make my living. I pour my heart into my novels and some people enjoy my artistic endeavors.

Please peruse my list of Nook books to see what I have for you. I've been writing since 1997 and I have 9 novels and 3 nonfiction works published.

My Grandma's Vintage Recipes: Old Standards for a New Age

In 2012 I discovered a handwritten cookbook that my Grandma started writing in 1926. I've salvaged 64 vintage recipes for cookies, quick breads, cakes, fruitcakes, main dishes, and canning recipes. This was a memorial project I did for my late grandmother.

I like to grow and preserve food. Over the years I've taught myself home canning. This is my short how to guide with tips I've learned along the way plus a few recipes.

Preserve the bounty of your garden, support local growers, claim control over ingredients, increase your food security, and enjoy great tasting foods better than anything from a factory.

Once upon a time I was a craps dealer in Las Vegas. Even after I left that job people always wanted me to tell them how to play. So eventually I wrote a book about it.
